Integra DC5, Acura RSX brake parts DC5 6 Pot Brake Caliper Kit Based on numerous feedbacks from actual racing experiences, J’s racing has chosen the best combination of brake pads, rotor diameter, materials and caliper construction for the ultimate brake performance Kit. Kit includes: Note: Does not fit 16 inch wheel DC5 6 Pot Brake Caliper Kit - replacement brake pad Special brake pad which is co-developed with Seidoya for the 6 pod brake caliper kit DC5 6 Pot Brake Caliper Kit - replacement brake rotor w/ housing DC5 6 Pot Brake Caliper Kit - replacement brake rotor (w/o housing) DC5 FCR Rotor Set (the set contains two rotors – left & right) Made of FCA material (copper, nickel, & molybdenum compound are added to the FC250 product). The DC5 FCR Rotor Set provides an extremely high level of performance which exceeds what has previously been the standard. Compared with the standard cast iron brake rotor, the DC5 FCR Rotor Set imparts substantial high durability against warping, juddering, squeaking, and cracking. It also provides greater heat dispersion, improved controllability (work well with all the performance pads) and excellent anti-rust characteristics. The rotor set promises a long lasting driving experience and longevity and will contribute towards cheaper maintenance and service costs. DC5 FCR Rotor Set w/ slot Along with all the excellent benefits of the FCR rotor, this slotted FCR rotor dissipates the heat more efficiently than the standard FCR rotor. Slotting also helps minimizes brake dust and maintains the surface of the pad well film. It features a 6 slot pattern. DC5 Front Slit Rotor Set (w/ slot) left + right The surface of the rotor is slotted and coated in order to provide 100% of the brake pad’s capacity. The quality of the rotor is very high with production tolerances set extremely low. It features a 6 slot pattern. DC5 Brake Line System (SUS) “PTFE”™ Teflon center hose is wrapped in braided stainless to prevent brake hose expansion due to heat and pressure. It is also clear coated for an attractive appearance. The stock rubber hose is very susceptible to the heat and it is apparent when you are braking hard. Heated brake fluid expands a rubber hose which results in changing pedal travel or a “spongy” feeling pedal. J’s Racing brake line system promises a stiff pedal feel and consistent linear braking. The J’s DC5 Brake Line System will maintain precise brake control with constant brake pressure. |
