With research & development over the past year, J’s Racing has perfected this intake as a sure “power-up” product for the DC5. As a bolt on intake, J’s Racing can claim that the DC5 Tsuchinoko Intake Kit TCC-T5, has the top efficiency rating and inflow volume in the market. The unique design of duct and intake box produce more power without giving up driving comfort. The air intake duct is made of carbon.

[Structure] The air intake panel which is located on the left side of the front bumper directly aids the fresh air flow efficiency. A special sub-duct design prevents air escaping from the system. With the ram air effect, the system can maintain the inflow velocity at very high levels. The box is designed to reduce the air resistance as much as possible and to supply the maximum air flow to the air filter. A drain hole is created in the box so that any rain water will not stay in the system (although the rain rarely goes into the system).
* Air filter can be cleaned with the cleaning kit (K&N filter cleaning kit is sold separately)

After a long research & development period, J’s Racing proudly presents an air filter which is very easy to service but significantly increases horsepower. The Maxflow air filter achieves both high dust filtration efficiency and a high airflow rate. The Maxflow filter utilizes a newly developed special gauze which collects more than 90 % of the dust & particles and will provide 100% more airflow than a conventional paper filters. It promises the high performance which you will not receive from other stock replacement filters.
